Galway Cartoon Festival: Creatures of Covid
An old pal of mine told me about the Galway Cartoon Festival and said “throw some stuff in and see what happens.” That was about the start of August and I thought I’d do some cool stuff for it. In the end I had to wing it a bit and find images I had already done and change them slightly to suit the theme.
I had some political ones but I thought I’d keep things a little light and tie them all together into a semi-themed series. The political ones while representing lockdown times was not directly linked to covid. The theme of the festival this year was covid and lockdown etc.
Here’s some political ones that didn’t make the cut!
-
Keep the banks open at all costs. Close the food banks during the pandemic. Conservative's horror show.
-
So the cops drove their cars through crowds of protestors in the aftermath of George Floyd's death.

My take on the killing of George Floyd.

This was after Cummings did his covid infected stinit to his family "up north".
